Welcome back to Carol's Corner. I'm sorry so many things keep happening that have kept me from publishing new blog posts. I really hate it when I can't put up something new for you every day. But I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. So let's get started. The ensemble in this picture is what I wore to church on Sunday and also when we traveled to my daughter's in Pa. that afternoon. I love the rich color and the black side buckle and trim. Iris Moore Welp won this one with,”Cranberry Crush.”
Went with all black accessories. I totally love my fancy black bracelet that houses my exercise tracker. It's so rich and elegant looking. And this pretty cocktail ring I got last year at Boscov's is another perfect complement to the ensemble.
You wouldn't believe how often this black watch is the perfect choice. I had to laugh though when I saw it was turned totally backward in the picture. Forgot to check it before we took the picture.
I'd like to talk today about inspiration. Inspiration can go two ways. It can be something you need or it can be giving someone else the inspiration they need. It is my hope that what I do here, in all my Facebook groups and people that I interact with, will cause them to say,”Because of you, I didn't give up.” I desire to be that person as much as possible. And then there may be times that I need inspiration from others. That is what is so great about all these awesome support groups we can be part of. I encourage you to be in multiple groups. You can find much to be inspired by and you can also find that you can be a source of inspiration for someone else. In this journey we find ourselves on , we need to draw on each other's knowledge and experience. When you're having a hard time, find someone to partner with and draw on each other's strengths. Sometimes when you do this you may find you are stronger than you thought you were and you will be able to help someone else get through a rough patch on their journey.
I really love what the above graphic says to us. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes. We all go through hard times. It is is how we deal with them that may be an inspiration to someone else. An imperfect being that is going through a rough patch on their journey but still stays positive and upbeat is an example of how you can be an inspiration to others. People will be drawn to you and inspired by how you handle problems along the way. In fact you may well inspire each other.
There is so much truth in this. Do you want to inspire others? I know I do. Sometimes it's just one thing that you don't even know you did that will be the source of inspiration and help, someone needed to continue on. We are all in this together and we never know when we might be that source of inspiration for someone else. And then times will come that you will find the inspiration you need from others who are on this journey with you.
This describes perfectly where I am in my life right now and what I hope to do. Sure we want successes and in this journey we need them, and sometimes we need those successes for our own well being. But besides those successes my greatest desire is to educate, motivate and inspire others to have the success they need and desire.
Everyone is in a different place. Maybe you need inspiration. I hope I can continue to be a source of that inspiration for you. But even as you might need inspiration don't discount that you could be the source of inspiration for another. Inspiration can be taken in or given out and sometimes both simultaneously.
I'd like to close with these two things for you to derive inspiration from. Believe in yourself. You can do whatever you put your mind to, even if you need help along the way. Take inspiration from others when you need it and give it to others when you have the chance. We will succeed together. Till next time, God Bless.
