Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate one of our most beloved holidays in America. Wasn't sure I was going to post tonight but thought I'd just share a little. My ensemble in this picture is just a happy one; beautiful color's and a playful design. The winner of naming this one is La Shaunda Blake with a playful name to go right along with it. She entitled this,” Mardi Gras Mambo.” Who doesn't like a little Mambo?
Found this set of jewelry I had made that went quite nicely with the ensemble and then this bright yellow FitBit band was perfect. I used yellow in my accessories all the way. You will note the bright yellow cami shaper underneath the top. They are a mainstay in my wardrobe. I own every color they make. Wish they'd come out with a few new shades.
Then got to use another color in the blouse with this brand new clasp cover. This whole combo pulled everything together.
What better way to start this off than to stop and give thanks for all the gifts that have come our way in this past year. It only takes me a nano second to know what I am most greatful for. It is only by the Grace of God that I am able to even be here writing to all of you out there in cyber space. I found out first hand that miracles actually happen, and being the recipient of one, made me value life even more. The experience of surviving a car accident that should have killed me was in many ways an amazing and almost freeing experience. How many times in one's life does one get to see the power of God up close and personal and then get to share that with other people? What are you most thankful for? Think on that and then give thanks.
So here we are, now what? Well you might be surprised by what I'm going to say!
You can't “DIET“on one of the biggest family get togethers of the entire year. That doesn't mean to you can't be sensible. And you gotta know I'm going to say,”Don't Forget Your Workouts!” You need them on days like this more than ever! When I'm done writing this, I'm going home and workout before I go to bed for a few hours, and then when we go back home in the evening I plan on working out again. Whatever you do try to work that into your schedule, you will be happy you did.
I'd like to close with this. Don't stress yourself out . Enjoy the bounty that God has provided and enjoy the time you get to spend with family and friends. I sure plan to. Life is precious. Be greatful that God has given you this day to enjoy. There will be plenty of time later to get back on track.
Have a blessed day wherever you are, and remember, every day should be “Thanksgiving” Till next time, God Bless.
