CAROL’S CORNER

Welcome to my little space in the blogosphere known as Carol's Corner. Sorry to have been absent for awhile, but I've been trying to recover somewhat from my automobile accident; my mind and body have taken a slight hit from this. I just haven't been up to trying to compose a blog, but going to try to tonight. I had this already started and somehow lost it and have to start again. Oh well, so be it. To save time just posting the picture above. I totally love this outfit, especially this truly gorgeous blouse. In my “Name This Ensemble ” enterprise I had many entries and had a hard time choosing the winner, but finally decided on Kristi Johansen Santeramo's, “Purple Mystique.” Really kind of like that.

Through this accident I have discovered I have to give my body time to heal whether I like it or not. I have to curtail my workouts for a bit even though my mind is trying to fight that idea. Lesson number 1: Listen to your body, it knows what it needs best. When it is screaming rest, do just that. I have a tendency to try and ignore what my body is trying to tell me. This time, I just had to give in to what it's saying.

Because of living through what I know was a miracle in my own life, that is what I would like to touch on tonight . If you don't believe in miracles, I'm sorry, you are looking at one. I am a living, walking, breathing miracle. I know I shouldn't have been able to walk away from that accident, pretty much, intact; in fact, the State Trooper told my husband I shouldn't be alive. I know God's angels must have surrounded me, and God saved me from certain death! That much I am certain of!

Are you going through a rough time in your personal journey? You are still here! Your heart is beating! There is a reason you are still here to see the light of another day. You have things to accomplish. God wants you to be the best person you can be in every way, and that includes doing the things to make you healthy and happy with yourself. Don't give up! Stay the course when the going seems hard and too much to bear.

Make the above be your philosophy as you travel all the pathways your journey leads you on. There will be many twists and turns as you navigate your way through your own personal journey. You are meant to be successful. Wake up every day and decide what you can do on this day to help you achieve your goals.

Even though I have gone through an experience that I should feel traumatized from, I actually feel blessed to have been part of a true miracle and witnessed the power of God in my own life. God saved me for a reason and I don't intend to waste a minute. I can look at the above and say this with every fiber of my being.

One reason, I think God protected me was, because of the ability I have found to be able to help and inspire people in this journey we are all part of. God must have more in store for me, I will work tirelessly to continue to reach as many people as I can, and be a source of inspiration to as many people as he sees fit to let me help along the path we are all traveling.

Search deep inside yourself and find what your strengths and your gifts are. You are so much more than what you believe you are. Unleash the greatness that resides inside yourself and miracles will happen. You might even be the impetus to help another person achieve their miracle.

I'd like to close with this prayer. May this help you when you are discouraged and down. Remember, every day is a miracle when you are blessed to live and breathe another day. Don't waste a minute! Everything you need to be successful resides right inside yourself. Unleash it and use it wisely. Till next time, God bless.
