Welcome to a new edition of Carol's Corner. I have two groups of pictures today and then I have another feature story for you tonight. I have a casual outfit and then a dressy one. This first one has pink sparkly small jewels on the top sides of the jeans that can't be seen because of my sweater. They go really nicely with this shirt. I've been looking for a blue sweater for awhile and found this at a Walmart when we were away a couple of weeks ago. Calling this.”Casual Flair.”

Love it when we take my hand pics on the side of my hubby's Caddy. I always tell him, get the whole logo and model in the picture. It just looks so cool. It was an unexpected purchase last fall. It's a 1994, in mint condition with a beautiful Navy Blue leather interior and I love that white top.

When you see my next set of hand pictures you will see the second color of my changing polish.

This is one of my absolute favorite dresses. When I saw this on a mannequin it just screamed my name. I have a number of different jewelry options to wear with it. Today I chose to go with just the Royal Blue this time. Calling this,” Flower Mania.”

In my two hand pictures you can see the other shade of my changing polish.

This one shows it the best and I went with the bright Yellow FitBit band and the Royal Blue Bandcuff.

So that takes care of my pictures and now on to my feature story. This is the story of Linda Arace, a member of my Facebook group and also the Leslie Sansone group. I am going to start by posting her picture two months into her journey.

So now here is Linda's story as told by her.

I have been struggling with my weight ever since having been put on numerous medications for my Auto Immune Disorder ” Dermatomyositis” which affects the muscles and the skin, which has been a battle to deal with. I was in and out of the hospital several times in one year until I was fully diagnosed. I was prescribed numerous types of medications one of which was the steroid Prednisone, which makes you gain weight. I knew I had to change my lifestyle and my diet completely. I tried many times while on the medication to lose weight and I just was unable to, until I was completely off the steroids. My weight crept up to over 200 pounds, to be exact 210 pounds. I was unhappy and very uncomfortable. After many attempts something finally clicked inside and I knew it was time to get going and change my diet to a healthier one. I changed my way of eating, stopped all processed foods and learned portion control. I did attempt going to Weight Watchers and following the simply filling program, but that didn't last too long as the Weight Watchers in my town closed down. Then I decided to join TOPS which is a support group which stands for Taking Off Pounds Sensibly. It's a non profit group that allows you to follow any program you want, and I did just that. I went on the Nutri Cleanse Program with IsAgenix, and I still follow that program which lead me to my goal weight. I am down 60 pounds and am now at 148 lbs and still want to lose 5 more lbs so I can learn to adjust my maintenance. I am very greatful for finding your group ” Carol's Inspiration Station.” Everyone is so kind and motivating, along with another group that I am thankful for also. Along with dieting I incorporated into my lifestyle change, indoor walking with Leslie Sansone, which is not new to me. I have been using her videos since 2002 and also walk outdoors with my Labrador Retrievers. I have also incorporated into my fitness regimen Zumba, Gentle Yoga and weight training so I can burn and tone. Thank you for your support and kindness.

The next two pictures are from last week, and lastly she included pictures of her walking buddies which I'm sure you will love seeing.

And here are her walking buddies.

Thank you Lisa for allowing me to share your story . I wish you continued success and see you in the group.

I will have another feature story coming up soon, one I know you won't want to miss. Till next time, God Bless.
