Well here we are again. Hope all my readers are doing well. Had another beautiful day here in Central New York. I love everything about today's picture. Been taking advantage of all the nice places to take outdoor pictures. This is outside the Country Music Park where we go dancing. It made a really beautiful background. The combination of the colors outside looked really cool next to the black of today's ensemble. It was just a beautiful contrast. Calling this,”Laced Up and Blinged Out.”
Used a beautiful bracelet and earrings I made along with the gunmetal necklace and shoes, which you probably can't see as I'm standing in grass.
My FitBit band is black with a grey leafy design and decided to go black with the BandCuff also.
A lot of things are packed into the above graphic, but it all boils down to two very important factors when it comes to our weight loss and fitness journey and both are equally important. You must have patience and determination. No matter how much you want to, you can't hurry weight loss. It never comes off as fast as it goes on. To be successful, that is one of the things you first must come to grips with. There is no easy or fast fix. You have to understand that this journey is going to take time, sometimes a long time. You have to learn to be patient and work the program, whatever that program is for each of you, and patient with yourself when you stumble along the way, which you will, we all do. That is where determination comes in. You can't let slips and stumbles along the way trip you up. The weight loss journey is not a sprint, it's a marathon, and it's gonna take grit and determination to cross the finish line.
Gotta love this one. Give yourself permission to have that pity party or meltdown. But have it and then move on. Keep your eye on the prize. Remember where you're headed and refocus on the things you need to do to get there.
Are there days you grow so weary of the daily struggles and the time it takes to get where you're trying to go that you want to give up? Still those voices in your head and remember those expressed above instead. Make this your mantra and repeat it to yourself when you feel weak or overwhelmed.
Everyone's journey is different . Don't gauge your progress by what you see happening in someone else's journey. Everyone is unique. It doesn't matter how much time it takes, it only matters if you get there. Be patient with yourself.
No matter what stage of this journey you may be on, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. There is no room for self doubt. When it creeps in, stop it in it's tracks. When you believe in yourself you can do anything you put your mind to. Be patient with the time this will take and be patient with yourself when you slip up. It is inevitable. There is no such thing as perfection here. Life happens. Just dust yourself off and keep on moving. And the biggest and most important thing of all is don't you ever give up. Because if you don't,you can and will succeed. Believe in yourself, have patience and stay the course. Till next time, God Bless.
