CAROL’S CORNER

Welcome to another edition of Carol’s Corner. Today’s pic was taken after I went to a movie at our local mall. One of the manager’s there took it for me. She has seen my whole transformation and we had quite a chat tonight. Since I started my blog my mind never stops. Alway’s thinking about what topic I should talk about next. Before I get to that I would like to thank all of you who responded to yesterday’s blog. It seems to have struck a chord with many of you. The things some of you said to me just touched my heart in a way that is indescribable. It is such an honor and privilege to be able to help and inspire so many people whom I have never even met from so many places. My heart is full and tears of joy touch my cheek as I write. I feel that God has led me to this place and this time for this very purpose and that his hand is guiding me as I continue on this amazing journey. Now onto what I’d like to talk about today. Emily this is for you and all the rest of you who are struggling with how to stay motivated. I hope I can do the topic justice. The first step is taking that step, whatever that may be . Every decision you make starts in one place, your mind. To succeed in anything you have to think it in your mind first. Lead with your head and the rest will follow.. At some point what you think in your mind moves to your heart. That is when miracles happen. Believe in yourself and know that you can do whatever you set out to do. To stay motivated you need to have a goal or goals , something you are aspiring to. You have to have both long and short term goals. Your long term goal will help you see the big picture . Never forget what that is. Short term goals will help you get there. Take some time and write these down on paper and look at them from time to time. Put them somewhere that you can see them, and think on them. Remember , think it in your mind till you can feel it in your heart. Find yourself some kind of visual that will remind you why you are doing what you are doing. Next reward yourself (not food) with something, each time you reach one of your short term goals. Mark it off and move on to the next one. Never look back, just keep moving forward. Remember each day is a new day, a day to begin anew. If you have a bad day, don’t beat yourself up about it. Dust yourself off and start over. Recommit yourself to your goals anytime you take a step backward. Of utmost importance , surround yourself with people who want the best for you and won’t try to bring you down or sabotage your efforts. Use our SIS group to help you through any problems you may face along your journey. Each and every one of you, remember, God loves you and wants you to be the BEST you can be. Failure is not an option!!! So get out there and show the world You can and will succeed. God bless each and everyone of you. Till next time WALK-WALK-WALK!!!!!!!! Below see my dvd stash.

  1. Carol, I feel honored that I “inspired” you to write this post! Thank you so much for writing to inspire, motivate and to help others. The attitude to have whether you want to or not is just to GET UP & DO IT! Even if that means complaining through it.

I hope you had a wonderful day! Have a goodnight 🙂

  2. Thank you for your words and inspiring motivation. I so need to hear them daily. I know I can do this. But I need to think it in my mind as often as I can until it gets to my heart as you said. Hugs Carol ! My the way your photos are great.

    1. I am so glad that the things I write makes sense to people. Still trying to decide what I want to talk about next. I post pics of me on my blog every day so people can see what is possible if they want it and work hard to achieve it. I try to encourage people to believe in their self every day.
