CAROL’ S CORNER

Welcome to another day in Carol's Corner. Hope everyone's doing great out there, wherever you may be. Well today is officially “Purple Day”. I love wearing purple and I've received tons of compliments from both the Real World” and ” The Social Media” world. Don't you just love all these gorgeous shades of purple and the other beautiful hues in this “happy” top?

And how could I not pair it with this purple jacket? Just love everything about this outfit. The winner for this ensemble is Gretl Stenske with, “Purple Paradise.” I chose to wear this awesome statement piece as my necklace for this ensemble. It is quite something to behold.

All my accent pieces were some shade of purple. Too bad this wasn't my new manicure I just got today. My pictures are behind a day at least behind what you see here. But you'll see it soon. My bracelet is Amythyst and Lavender Jade and my ring is Amythyst and Blue Topaz.

I took some of the color's from my top and mixed them together on my FitBit Band. These are smaller ones so you can mix and match different combinations together.

And lastly I had this fun purple watch. It was a perfect match to the top and leggings.

Do you ever feel like you're at the end of your rope when it comes to the journey you are on? Are there days you just want to pack it in and just give up? Do you feel like everything is going wrong? If we are honest with ourself I am sure every one of us who are on this journey have felt like this at least one time if not more. It is when you feel this way that you just have to hang in there till the bad times pass, or as the above graphic states,”Tie a knot in it and hang on.” Whatever you do don't give up. It is ok if you end up taking a detour along the way as long as you find your way back. I guess you might say, I have taken a detour myself. I know sometime soon I have to get serious about getting rid of at least some of the pounds I have let find it's way back. You kind of let yourself go once in awhile as long as you can still fit in your clothes, but I know I am soon approaching a time when that might not be the case. Then I'm truly going to have to get off that detour and find my way back on the right road again. If you find yourself where I am right now, give yourself time and as soon as you are ready get right back on the roadway that leads to health and happiness.

The above graphic might be a good one to print out and place it somewhere you will see it every day. No matter where you find yourself, remember that where you are now is not where you are going to end up. You ARE a work in progress, and yes the BEST is yet to come. Count on it, believe it and make it happen.

Do you get frustrated because you think your journey is taking too long? You might want to remember that anything worthwhile takes time. Everyone's journey is unique. You can't compare yours to anyone else's. It's ok to take your time. However long it takes for you to reach your goal is up to you. You need to do whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and moves you more easily to the finish line.

I'd like to close with this. Your journey is uniquely yours. Everything that has transpired along the way has brought you to where you are right now. You are in the right time and in the right place. You are right where you need to be. Don't worry about how long it takes. Keep doing all the things you know you need to do, and one day you will discover you have arrived just where you hoped and dreamed you would. Have faith in yourself and you just might get there sooner than you think. Till next time, God Bless.
