Hello out there. I'm back! Had to take a break for a few days. I was exhausted both mentally and physically. Before I get started on our discussion tonight, going to post pictures from the last two days. It's been awhile since I bought some new clothes besides exercise ones. Just got our finances back on track and no more charging. I was lucky to be at the mall in Ithaca when Bonton had a special sale. I was able to buy two tops I loved for $45. I would never have paid the full prices as each one was $46. I got 2 with the tax for $45:my kind of sale. The picture above features one of them. Love it with this skirt and dark stockings. The whole style of it is fun and interesting. Two of my young waitresses at Denny's want this. Guess that shows what I've always said; I'm young at heart. That's never going to change. So calling this ensemble, “Aztec Fury.” The waitresses named this one.
Loved the jewelry with this one. The earrings went really well with this bracelet and added just the right touch.
Always have some kind of FitBit combo. And I adore my new manicure. Everyone seems to love it.
This is the other top I got in that sale. I knew it would be perfect with this pair of skinny pants. I wore this gorgeous necklace and earring set that was a gift from my daughter-in-law. It's a perfect fit for this. Everyone at dance just adored this top. Calling this, “Simplicity.” So that's my fashion for the last two days. Now on to our topics of discussion.
Do any of you find yourselves right here where I am and have been for about a month now? If you are, let's begin anew together. I have to, this has gone on long enough. I hate myself for slowly allowing this to happen. I should have stopped it in it's tracks long ago. But as that saying goes, “Hindsight is 20/20.” What's done is done. Nothing can change that. We can't undo it. So now what? Well I think the above pictures states it quite well. The first step is acknowledging we are off track. Then instead of beating ourself up about it (which serves no useful purpose,) we need to forgive ourself and what: RESTART that's what! How do we do that you ask? Well just as this says, “You know the way.” And I do. If I hadn't known the way I never would have gotten rid of 57 pounds in the first place. Now, I just have to get my act together and take the same steps I did before. It is just a matter of recommitting myself and just start doing.
This is where so many of us go wrong, myself included. At some point in our journey we are all guilty of this; either before we began this journey, or at the times where we kind of backslid. (Which is where I find myself.) Do you find yourself saying, “Well I'll start again on Monday,” or, “I'll start right after the party we're going to.” We always want to wait till something or other is over, but guess what: There's always gonna just be another “Something or Other.” Why? Because there's this thing we call “LIFE.” Everyday we are blessed to wake up and begin a new day, there will be a new challenge, a new “Something or Other.” There are no perfect conditions. We have to make the conditions, either by starting the journey or by beginning anew when we slip up one too many times.
If you are like me, you are starting a part of your journey over , you need to forget about everything that preceded the necessity to do so. The most important thing is your decision to move forward again. And then you have to decide just how you're going to accomplish that. What's best for me might not be what's best for you. Think thing's through and make a plan of action that you know you can handle.
Are you ready to take the right exit toward success in whatever stage of the journey you're presently in? Well there's no time like the present! Today is the time to get off that crazy freeway and head to “Opportunity” where you'll find everything you need to continue on to your final stop where you'll find;
Along the way you will have many ups and downs, twists and turns; you'll even lose your way, but as long as you don't give up you'll find it again. Keep on going no matter what, and you'll find where your success resides. Till next time, God Bless.
