Welcome to another night in Carol's Corner. Feeling good today. Finally got my hair done as it was way overdue. Funny what a difference that makes in how you feel. I rock a short do and my hairdresser was sick last week and I had to wait an extra week which made it even worse. This is a dress I found on sale at T J Max in their moving sale. Like the sassy look of it and the jewelry I got recently looks awesome with it. calling this one,” Hot Nana coming at ya.”
Love this ring. It's a real amythyst and sterling cocktail ring. Amethyst is my birthstone and I love all things purple.
This is another watch from my watch collection. All my watches have to look like a piece of jewelry as well as being a time piece.
Well I have been lucky to score another feature story for you guys tonight. Penny Myers another member of the Sansone group has agreed to share her journey for the readers of Carol's Corner. First I am going to show a montage of pictures she sent me and after you hear her story I have a picture of her at her current weight.

Here is Penny's story in her own words.
A lot of people have asked me how long did it take me or when did I see results. It has taken me almost a year and a half to lose the weight. My starting weight was 225. I stayed away from the scale in the beginning so I wouldn't get discouraged. I got weighed by the doctors and then started my journey. When I first started I walked 7 days a week for ten minutes. I did this by walking around the block. I then moved on to 20 minutes 7 days a week for two weeks, adding two more blocks to my walks. The weight was slowly creeping off. I noticed that I seemed to have a little more energy so I added 30 minutes and continued with the 7 day workouts. One MONDAY MORNING when I was getting ready for a yard sale I found in my belongings a tape by some woman named Leslie Sansone. It was the Walk Away Express ( as seen on TV). I have no idea how I got this tape. It was still in it's wrapper. ( Maybe that was your guardian angel Penny!) I thought what the heck. Let's give it a try. I did and I loved it. I now have about 15 tapes. I switch all the time between them. I now walk with Leslie 3 days a week and walk outside the other two days. In the winter I will walk with Leslie as I did last winter all 5 days.
As I stated when I started I weighed 225. When I started my weigh in's, I would record them. Here is the progress.
